DON’T GET IT TWISTED
I just accidentally watched 30 seconds of a world renowned personal development guru who’s selling VIP Tickets to his gathering.
His commercial said:
“Come where you’ll have access to power.”
“Come and get your picture taken with some of the most influential people in the world.”
“Make connections that will change your life.”
Those sentences made my spirit giggle like I had an inside joke, and then I realized I do.
Access to power?
My Bible tells me “the same spirit that raised Christ Jesus from the dead is alive in me.”
That’s serious 24/7 access to power…and I’ve got the VIP pass (His name is Jesus).
Influence?
My Bible tells me I’m “surrounded with favor like a shield” and “the heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord” and He turns situations toward me (because He loves to bless me!)
Life Changing Connections?
I became a new creation in Christ and I am more than equipped and fully resourced for everything that comes my way.
I have that divine hook up!
Person on left: Single mom. Went from food stamps, homelessness and addiction to a minister, business owner and addiction recovery professional.
Person on right (my sister): Took a sinking career in real estate (during the recession) and put together one of the most powerful million dollar teams out there…all while people were telling her “It will never work.”
Can someone say thank you, Jesus?
I’m so proud today to be walking in the fullness of the blessings of my Savior!
I’m so thankful that when people ask, “How did you do it” either one of us can say…”We believed God’s promises and we refused to walk in fear.”
I remember Shelby coming to my house and we would just sit and listen to Bethel Worship for hours. We would get in His presence because that’s where the blessing is…
That’s where the power is…
That’s where the creative ideas come from…
Everything that brought us to the blessed and wonderful lives we live now began in the presence of God.
He’s a good, good Father.
I can’t wait to see what 2019 looks like!
Coming in hotttttt !
