You’re PREGNANT
Isaiah 40:31 -“but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
Do you have a goal?
Do you have a vision or dream for what you want 2019 to look like?
The Bible tells us again and again to stand still…to wait on God.
What does that mean?
What does WAITING look like?
Are you supposed to do nothing?
I think a lot of people wait on God to show up in their situation and when things don’t change they shrug their shoulders and say, “Well, I guess God said no.”
Untrue…
If the thing you’re waiting for has anything to do with health, abundance, wisdom, freedom, joy or peace, He didn’t say no. In fact, He sent Jesus to pay for everything we would ever need and gave us authority over every obstacle!
So, how do we wait?
If you study out the word “wait” and what it means, it’s pretty awesome.
The word for wait is the same word for focus, single mindedness and expectancy (as in pregnancy).
When you’re pregnant, you’re waiting.
You’re waiting and waiting for the moment of labor and delivery, but guess what?
While you’re pregnant you are DOING some things:
You’re telling people you’re about to have a baby
You’re getting things ready for this change in your life
You’re excited and even a little scared, but you’re ready for the promise to arrive
So, what are you doing while you’re waiting on God for healing or deliverance or finances to show up in your life?
Are you going around talking about how sick, how broke or how addicted you are?
That’s counterproductive.
That’s NOT how to partner with God.
The bottom line is, He’s ALREADY given you all that you’ll need for abundant, healthy life through His Son Jesus Christ.
YOUR JOB is to partner with God and wait on the promises to become a reality by
believing
expecting
speaking
walking like its already finished (because it is)
If you’ve got a dream, a goal, a calling to fulfill (and trust me…you do) then you’ve gotta start walking and talking like you’re pregnant with purpose BECAUSE YOU ARE!
Betcha didn’t know you were pregnant…
Happy New Year!
It’s a good day to partner with God and SPEAK LIFE while EXPECTANTLY WAITING!
