Thanks Polly. It sure is a favorite with all our friends and family. Finding something that healthy that also tastes so extraordinarily delicious is rare.

My son asked me to do a second ferment with Ningxia Red from the batch I have fermenting now. Glad to read that it is as good as it sounds! Looking forward to trying it!

What a great idea. I am a YL member and love Ningxia red. Do you think we can reuse the ningxia red bottles for second fermentation? Thanks

What a great idea ! Why not.? Any tight fitting lidded glass bottle should work. Let me know how it turns out.

Do you think it affects the benefits at all though? I’m getting ready to do a second ferment on my kombucha and wanted to try the ningxia in it. Since we know it feeds off of the sugars, I didn’t know if it would inadvertently affect the benefits. Thanks in advance 🙂

Hi Jasmine, I don’t believe so as it probably does not affect the high ORAC score and antioxidant properties.
